Role Overview DavinCred needs a dedicated Field Recovery Agent to handle overdue loan collections across Jammu and nearby regions. You'll visit customers, recover pending payments, locate skip cases, and resolve accounts professionally while staying compliant with all legal guidelines.

Main Responsibilities

• Travel to customer homes or workplaces in Jammu and surrounding areas to collect overdue EMIs and outstanding amounts.

• Discuss loan balances, late fees, and available payment solutions with customers in a clear manner.

• Arrange and document repayment schedules, partial payments, or settlements following company approval limits.

• Track down updated addresses and contact details for customers who have moved or become unreachable.

• Record all daily visits, conversations, collections, and outcomes; share reports with the team lead.

• Deposit all cash, cheques, or digital payments securely as per company timelines.

• Work with the phone collection team on difficult accounts, disputes, or cases needing escalation.

• Follow RBI regulations, fair collection practices, and DavinCred's internal policies during all field activities.

Who We're Looking For

• Education: 12th pass minimum; graduates preferred.

• Experience:

  • At least 1 year working in field recovery, collections, or loan agency operations.

  • Bonus if you've handled vehicle loans, personal loans, or consumer finance recovery.

• Local Knowledge: Must know Jammu city roads well and nearby areas like Samba, Udhampur, Akhnoor, etc.

• Requirements:

  • Own two-wheeler + valid driving licence.

  • Android phone with WhatsApp, Google Maps, and basic apps.

• Skills:

  • Good speaking and convincing skills in Hindi; knowledge of local languages helps.

  • Honest, hardworking, and comfortable travelling extensively.

  • Can stay calm and professional during challenging customer discussions.

The role focuses on outbound calling, follow-ups, and negotiation to recover dues while maintaining professional, compliant, and customer-sensitive communication. Key Responsibilities

• Call customers with overdue or written-off loan accounts to remind them of pending payments and seek recovery.

• Clearly explain outstanding amount, loan status, and repayment or settlement options approved by the company.

• Negotiate and record repayment commitments and instalment plans where immediate payment is not possible.

• Attend incoming calls from customers related to collection queries and provide accurate information.

• Update systems/CRM with call outcomes, promises to pay, broken commitments, and payment details on a daily basis.

• Coordinate with the field collection team on high-risk, skip, or non-contactable cases.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Certification: DRA (Debt Recovery Agent) certification from IIBF or any recognized body is mandatory.

• Experience:

  • Prior experience in collections / recovery / telecalling for loans or credit cards.

  • Strong advantage for candidates who have handled written-off / NPA / recovery portfolios.

• Education: Minimum 12th pass; graduates are an added plus.

• Skills:

The role is focused on field visits, customer interactions, and ensuring timely payments while maintaining a professional and compliant approach.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers at their home or workplace to remind and collect overdue payments.

• Clearly explain pending amounts, EMI structure, and available repayment options.

• Discuss and record repayment plans when customers are unable to clear dues immediately.

• Confirm and update customer address and contact details; report non-traceable or skip cases.

• Maintain a proper log of daily visits, commitments, and collections and share reports with the team.

• Safely handle and deposit all collections (cash/cheque/online) as per company procedure.
